THE BACKGROUND OF BLACK MAGIC

 Assalam oalaikum,

We have often heard that the phenomenon of black magic dates back to the ancient times. This is quite true and in order to trace the history of black magic we will have to go back to the 10th century B.C, when King Sulaiman (alaihis salam), the son of Prophet Dawud (alaihis salam), ruled Jerusalem.

Regarding both the father and the son the Holy Quran says:

“And we verily gave knowledge to Dawud and Sulaiman and they said, ‘Praise be to Allah, who has favored us above many of His believing servants”. (TMQ-27:15)

Sulaiman alaihis salam was gifted with special powers by Allah (swt). This is mentioned in the Holy Quran.

"So, We subjected to him the wind, it blew gently to his order whithersoever he willed, " (TMQ -38:36)

"And Sulaiman inherited (the knowledge of) Dawud. He said, ‘O mankind! We have been taught the language of birds and on us have been bestowed all things. This verily, is an evident grace (from Allah)." (TMQ-27:16)

“And to Sulaiman (We subject) the wind, its morning (stride from sunrise till mid-noon) was a month’s journey and its afternoon (stride from mod-day decline of the sun till the sunset) was a month’s (journey i.e. in one month he could travel two months’ journey). And We caused a fount of (molten) brass to flow for him and there were jinns that worked in front of him, by the Leave of His Lord and whoever of them turned aside from Our Command, We shall cause him to taste the torment of the blazing sun”. (TMQ-34:12)

During the reign of Hazrat Sulaiman Alaihis Salam the followers of Satan and the evil jinnat used to goad people into blasphemy and when the people indulged in blasphemy the jinns became pleased with them and shared with them black magic tricks. The people thought that since the blasphemous things which they uttered brought about comfort and ease so they began to note down the so-called magic spells, in books. When Sulaiman alahis salam saw all this happening he seized all the books and placed them under his throne. After his death the magicians and the followers of Satan unearthed those books and showed them to the people. They attributed the special powers of Sulaiman alahis salam to black magic found in those books. By making such baseless allegations against Sulaiman alahis salam the Jews labeled him as a disbeliever. The Jews also refuted Sulaiman alhis salam’s Prophet hood and regarded him as a mere black magician. (nauzubillah). However, all these charges leveled against Sulaiman alais salam have been refuted in the Holy Quran.

Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran:

“They followed what the devils gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaiman. Sulaiman did not disbelieve but the devils disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Harut and Marut, but neither of the two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they said, ‘We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning the magic from us)". And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not harm anyone except by Allah’s Leave. And they learn that which harms them and profits them not. And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their ownselves, if they but knew”. (TMQ-2:102)

Thereby, Allah refuted the Jew’s accusations by saying, in the above mentioned verse, that when black magic is forbidden and how could Sulaiman alaihis salam, (who is a believer) do something which was forbidden by Allah (swt)?

Allah (swt) has mentioned about Harut and Marut briefly in the verse 2:102. We should also believe in it- without going into unnecessary details. Verse 2:102 shows that Allah (swt) had taught Harut and Marut the knowledge of black magic. Apparently Allah (swt) intended to show to the people what black magic was all about so that they would stop regarding the Prophets as mere black magicians. The knowledge if real black magic would have helped them in differentiating between the miracles of the Prophets and the weird black magic tricks. As a matter of fact, black magic had become so common during this period that the people had even started regarding the Prophets as black magicians. In order to bust this misconception and to test the people Allah (swt) had sent the two angels, Harut and Marut. Though the angels had made it clear at the onset that black magic is tantamount to disbelief and whoever learns black magic from them will get no share in the Hereafter yet the Jews had become so depraved that they did not mend their ways. They continued to learn more tricks of black magic through which they could break happy, prosperous homes and create discord between married couples.

So through the Quranic verse 2:102 we get a glimpse into the history of black magic. However, black magic did not originate during the rein of Sulaiman alahis salam but many centuries before that. The Holy Quran has mentioned that when Prophet Moosa alahis salam requested Firoan to give up his false claim of being the Lord of mankind, the latter had confronted Prophet Moosa alahis salam with his magicians. However, by the Grace of Allah (swt), the magicians soon realized that Moosa alahis salam possessed much superior powers than them. Ultimately all of them declared their belief in the oneness of Allah (swt).

Through the eons gone by, Satan and his ilk have continued with their evil plot of creating mischief in this world with black magic.
In the subsequent posts, I shall Inshallah discuss about one such tool of Satan with which he tries to harm mankind- i.e. Voodoo dolls.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF AFRICAN BLACK MAGIC

Assalam oalaikum,

Voodooism is a religious cult in which Voodoo dolls, animistic deities and witchcraft are used in order to create desired effects on the victims. The word ‘Voodoo’ is derived from an indigenous African word ‘vodun’, which means spirit.
Voodooism is based on the tribal religions of Africa. It was brought to Haiti in the 17th century by the slaves who practiced it.  So it began in Africa and went on to become popular in Haiti.

The basic ethos of the Voodooism is that there is one God who does not communicate with people at all. It is the loas or the spirits which interact with people and also help them out. Those who practice Voodoo have to serve the loas. The Voodoo ceremonies include dancing, animal sacrifices and rituals. The practitioners of Voodooism connect with the spirits and the spirit world through the medium of dance.
The Voodoo magic practitioners preferably use sympathetic magic, which is based on the assumption that a person or object can be affected supernaturally by its name or an article representing it.
Voodoo magic, like other forms of magic, is used in various ways such as necromancy and in making Voodoo dolls. Necromancy involves communication with the spirits of the deceased people for discovering hidden facts, which enables them to foretell future events. Through Voodoo dolls, which are an effigy of the victim, the Voodoo magic practitioners try to create motor-skill manipulation. In other words, they try to manipulate the motor functions of their victims against their will. If they are successful then they can make their victims like a puppet in their hands. These dolls are an example of sympathetic magic, which is based on the Law of similarity or the notion that like affects like. Since these dolls are made to resemble the victim and they have something significant from the victim (such as hair or clothing) so this makes it possible for a skilled voodoo magic practitioner to affect the victim adversely.
Another aspect of the sympathetic magic is the Law of Contact/contagion which is based on the idea that ‘once in contact, always in contact’. According to this folk belief, that which has been in touch once will continue acting on each other even from a distance- after the physical contact has been detached. The Law of contact enables a Voodoo magic practitioner to harm someone even from a great distance by using something which the victim has used or which has been a part of their body, such as hair and nail clippings.
In my next post Inshallah I shall discuss the harms of indulging in Voodoo magic and how those who practice it, put their eternal life at stake.

THE AFTERMATHS OF INDULGING IN VOODOO MAGIC

Assalam oalaikum,

Though Voodoo witchcraft had originated in Africa but at present, it has spread far and wide. It is considered to be the most lethal form of magic through which a victim can be harmed or killed from a distance.
For those who practice this deadly kind of witchcraft, there are two serious consequences awaiting them-one in their worldly life and the other one in the life hereafter.
Let us discuss both of them one by one. As far as the first worldly consequence is concerned there is a three-fold law in the occult principles. This law states that whatever negative forces which are emitted (by those who practice witchcraft) will boomerang towards them, unless they are absorbed by the victim towards whom they are directed. In other words, many Voodoo spells can get reversed against the magicians themselves. When the Voodoo practitioners try to command the evil forces for bringing harm to the victim, they also make themselves vulnerable to psychic attacks.
Now let us come to the second and the more serious consequence- the eternal one. For those who use the tool of Voodoo magic to make a fast quick buck in this world, all that lies in the world hereafter is ignominy and punishment. Black magic is considered to be one of the greater sins and those who indulge in such evil practices in this world put their eternal life at sake.
Here are some of the relevant Quranic verses and ahadith which prove that evil phenomenon such as Voodoo witchcraft; black magic, divination etc are strictly forbidden in Islam.
Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran:
“…and the magician will never succeed, no matter whatever amount (of skill) he may attain”. (TMQ-20:69)
And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their own self, if they but knew”. (TMQ-2:102)
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, ‘Whoever blows on knots practices magic, and whosoever practices magic is a mushrik (polytheist) (reported by At-Tabarani)
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, ‘He is not one of us who practices witchcraft or has it done for him’.
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said “Avoid the seven sins which doom a person to Hell. They asked, ‘What are they? He replied, ‘Associating anything inn worship to Allah (shirk); witchcraft..”

Therefore, succumbing to devil’s temptations and indulging in Voodoo magic can prove to be disastrous for the practitioners as well as for those who get it done by hiring them.

WHY DO PEOPLE RUN AFTER VOODOO MAGIC PRACTITIONERS?

Assalam oalaikum,

Some people do not think twice before consulting a black magic practitioner if they happen to face a problem in life. If a person falls sick then he or she may consult a doctor. Likewise, if a person has a problem regarding marriage, career, love etc then they ought to seek the help of a pious spiritual healer who can guide them in an Islamic way. Unfortunately, people throng the black magic practitioners and tantriks, instead. Consequently, they end up squandering their hard-earned wealth and are taken for a ride by fraudsters. Yet, they do not learn from their mistakes and get duped again and again.
What could be the possible reason/s why people run after such Voodoo magic practitioners instead of the taking help from genuine, Raaqi or spiritual healers?
First of all it is the feeling of vengeance which incites the people into taking this drastic step. After all, we know that visiting such evil people such as Voodoo magic practitioners or tantriks is strictly prohibited in Islam. Yet many amongst us do not pay heed to the Islamic rulings and go to such people. The feeling of vengeance can drive anyone insane and such people can surely visit a Voodoo magic practitioner who will readily cast a revenge spell to make a fast buck. A Voodoo magic practitioner cannot be expected to teach his clients the virtue of forgiveness. Neither will he preach before his clients about the sin involved in using a revenge spell. According to a hadith, Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, ‘He is not one of us who practices witchcraft or has it done for him’. If such a vengeful person happens to consult a pious, spiritual healer then undoubtedly the latter will ask him to leave his matter to Allah (swt) and he will tell him about the virtues of patience. According to a hadith, Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, “Whosever is patient in calamities, Allah gives him three hundred status, whosever is patient in obedience to Allah, will get six hundred status, whosoever is patient in desisting for evil deeds will get hundred status”. Asking a Voodoo magic practitioner to cast a revenge spell, on an enemy too, will be considered to be an sin because sorcery is totally prohibited in Islam.
Secondly, it is the feeling of envy which leads certain people to Voodoo magic practitioners. When people cannot bear to see someone happier and prosperous then them, then they try to destroy their happiness through black magic spells. These practitioners readily cast the magic spells for money. However, Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) had said, ‘Iman and hasad (envy) do not gather together in the heart of a slave (of Allah).’ [Hadith]. Therefore, a pious spiritual healer will never encourage a person who wishes to destroy someone on the grounds of envy and jealousy.
Some people try to cast love spells and they may even try to con someone for marriage through Voodoo magic. A pious spiritual healer will never take such short cuts and at the most he may provide a solution with the help of certain Quranic verses.
So basically it is evil intentions which can make a person seek the help of Voodoo magic practitioners or tantriks. Otherwise evil deeds such as captivating someone’s mind to make the person a puppet in one’s hands or blocking someone’s marriage/career prospects through black magic are amongst the major sins or Gunah-e-Kabeera.

HOW DO THE VOODOO WITCHCRAFT PRACTITIONERS TARGET INNOCENT VICTIMS?

Assalam oalaikum,

Like the other forms of back magic, Voodoo magic also revolves around the spirit world. The Voodoo magic practitioners perform rituals and animal sacrifices in order to bring spirits under their control. This is the reason why many such practitioners are known to visit graveyards at night. When they finally manage to subjugate the spirits then they do all sorts of evil deeds with their help. They can even get people killed by the spirits. Due to rise in jealousy, competition, envy and hatred these days such practitioners are in much demand. People often hire them to seek revenge or to ruin the marriage and career prospects of their relatives, friends or acquaintances.
Voodoo witchcraft has got the reputation of being the most dangerous form of black magic. Originating from Africa, this witchcraft has spread throughout the world.
The basic idea is to make a doll which resembles the victim in some way. The victim’s hair, nails, clothes etc are acquired stealthily and are attached to the doll, thereby producing a psychic connection between the two. The practitioner then pierces needles at specific points in the doll to harm the victim. The main agenda of the Voodoo witchcraft practitioners, like the rest of their ilk, is to weaken the immune system of the victim.

Some of the symptoms of Voodoo witchcraft are:
darkening of ones complexion
chronic fatigue
jerking of body parts
suicidal tendencies
heaviness in parts of the body
a dark smoke in front of ones
eyes on awakening
waking up in fear
stinging pain in body
burning of palms
disturbed sleep
irritability

Wash out I memory
 Sudden chills
Constant headaches
Medical treatment does not yield any positive result
Bruise marks on the body
Irregular periods or no periods at all
Rape in dreams by spirits

The symptoms vary according to the severity of the magic done. In the final stage of black magic, (where even the powerful spiritual healers do not take up the case) the symptoms become spooky and the black magic becomes almost irreversible. Therefore, it is essential for a person to take note of anything unnatural which happens to him or her before it gets too late.

The following link gives us an insight into what the Voodoo witchcraft practitioners are up to.

The video proves that such things do happen in the society and have become a nuisance for the people. Those who live in the areas near the crematorium are seen complaining about the beating of drums by the tantriks at night, in the crematorium. Apparently, the tantriks are following the same rituals which are used by the original African Voodoo witchcraft practitioners. Bones and skulls of the dead are unearthed in order to perform the spooky rituals of Voodoo witchcraft. The half-burnt skulls, bones, Voodoo doll, hammer etc which can be seen in this video are all sure-shot signs of Voodoo witchcraft. Besides performing these disgusting rituals, the practitioners also feed food laced with “ash of the dead” to the innocent victims. If an unsuspecting victim eats such food/ dessert then he or she can easily fall a prey to the tricks of such dangerous tantriks.
Since Voodoo witchcraft is on the rise these days, so it has become essential for everyone to practice extreme caution in life.

GOVERNMENT APATHY TOWARDS THE PROBLEM OF WITCHCRAFT

Assalam oalaikum,

Voodoo witchcraft has spread like wild fire to other parts of the world from Africa. America, UK, Africa, India, Malaysia, Pakistan are some of the countries where black magic has spread its fangs. Everywhere innocent victims have to face the brunt of this phenomenon. Envious, vindictive or plainly malicious people hire the evil Voodoo witchcraft practitioners/ tantriks, pay them handsomely and then wait for their magic to begin. The list of things which are targeted through black magic is endless. In other words the destruction which is being caused through black magic is beyond imagination. Let us assess some of the ways in which innocent people are made to suffer at the hands of the tantriks.

Black magic/ Voodoo witchcraft is being used to do the follows:
Killing innocent people through accidents, cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Driving people to suicide.
Destroying people’s carrier, business etc and making them bankrupt.
Sowing seeds of dissent between husband and wife which often lead to divorce.
Blocking marriage prospects of girls.
Making women unable to conceive and causing frequent miscarriages
Captivating the mind of the victim and making him/her a puppet.

These are just a few of the endless possibilities where black magic is concerned. Innumerable people are being subjected to torture in more than one ways through black magic.
If we start listing the Satanic, black magic rituals which are performed by the practitioners in order to appease evil demons, then they can give anyone gooseflesh.
Human sacrifice (especially of children)
Making gold plated fetuses after roasting them to bring on good fortune
Raping women as part of black magic rituals
Killing people to cut out their body parts for Voodoo witchcraft rituals
Rituals which involve sexual abuse of not just children but animals too.
Unearthing skulls, bones etc of corpses to perform black magic
Forcing young girls into sexual ‘rituals’ on the pretext of helping them.

The reasons for which they do it and the ways in which they do it are both gruesome and devilish. Would it be wrong to call it a crime? Definitely not! After all there is nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade. However, though Voodoo witchcraft is rampant in many countries yet stringent laws for curbing this evil practice are conspicuous by their absence.
Let us look at the occult crimes from the Islamic viewpoint. There is enough evidence from the religious texts in Islam to proof that sorcery is a major sin and should be dealt with strictly.
Hazrat Umar ibn Al-Khattab (ra) sent messages to his viceroys in the countries under Islamic rule ordering them to kill all sorcerers.
It is reported authentically from Hafsah (ra) that she ordered the execution of her slave for practicing magic upon her, and she was executed.
According to Imam Ahmad, execution of sorcerers is authentically reported from three Companions (i.e. Umar, Hafsah and Jundun (ra)].
According to Imam Nawawi, practicing sorcery is unlawful and there is scholarly consensus that it is a major sin. The Prophet (pbuh) has counted it as one of the seven destroying sins.
According to Islamic rulings sorcery is unlawful because it can be done only with the help of devils and evil spirits. Sorcery involves worshipping Satan and is therefore, tantamount to disbelieve or shirk. Therefore, Islam has dealt with it in the strictest possible way. Laxity of the governments, after all, can perpetuate occult crimes in the society. If the ever increasing cases of occult crimes cannot serve as a wake up call for the authorities, then what else will??

SELF-DEFENCE AGAINST VOODOO MAGIC

Assalam oalaikum,

Abu Hurayrah (ra) relates that Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said, ‘A Muslim is not bitten by the same hole twice’. (Bukhari/ Muslim).
The background of this hadith is as follows: Imam Ahmad (ra) wrote that a faithless person named Abu Ghurrah Hamji used to recite satirical poetry on Islam. When he was imprisoned after the Battle of Badr he pleaded for forgiveness by saying that he had a family to look after. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) felt pity for him and forgave him sans ransom. However, after getting freed he did not mend his ways and started reciting satirical poetry against Islam again. Coincidently, after the Battle of Uhad he was taken as a prisoner again. This time too he pleaded for mercy but Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) did not trust him and he said these words, which became a proverb in the Arabic language.
This hadith teaches Muslims a very important lesson that they should not trust deceptive people. Once we have a bad experience with someone, we ought to become wiser and vigilant. We should learn from our past mistakes. If someone breaks our trust once then by ‘forgiving and forgetting’ such a person we will end up in more trouble. Had Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) forgiven Abu Ghurrah Hamji for a second time then it is obvious that he would have gone back on his words and would have started doing propaganda against Islam.

This hadith also shows that experience makes us wiser. If we look around in the world we may find people who are oblivious about witchcraft, dark energies, spells etc. However, when such people become victims of black magic they suddenly become aware about this dark reality. They hire spiritual healers to help them and become alert. Such people can never get bitten by the same hole twice. Such people stumble and fall down once but then they get up and tread their path in a careful way. They learn from their past experience and start looking around for pits and try to avoid them.
However, we may rarely find such people who are vigilant and who have insight into witchcraft even before they experience it themselves. This is because there are not many amongst us who learn from other people’s mistakes. We do not sit up and take notice any problem unless we have to face it ourselves. Witchcraft is happening all around us. If we have not faced it as yet this does not imply that we may not face it in the future also. The devil is constantly on the prowl and he is trying his best to spread hatred, anger and envy in the world. So the next target can be anyone of us unless we make ourselves black magic proof. This brings me back to the same point again that if a person reads the Holy Quran he or she may notice that black magic has been mentioned umpteen times. Therefore, it will be wiser on our part if we understand the reality of black magic and try to protect ourselves from it instead of ignoring it, denying it or behaving like an escapist. Like the many challenges we face in life, black magic/witchcraft should also be taken up as a challenge and should be dealt with strictly without any laxity. It would be very fortunate if people could actually be aware about the reality of witchcraft right from the beginning. Taking precautions against witchcraft even before our first brush with it can help us in averting the attack or at least in alleviating it.

Now coming to the self-treatment for protecting ourselves from psychic attacks, demonic possessions, Voodoo witchcraft etc let us explore about the endless possibilities of doing so. Yes! There maybe endless, devilish ways in which innocent victims can be harmed through witchcraft but at the same time there are numerous ways out of this inextricable maze too, Alhamdolillah. The plans of Satan are weak and so is he whereas Allah (saw) is All-Powerful. Therefore, we should call upon Him to protect us from evil.
In my next post Inshallah, I shall discuss about the self-treatment methods through which a person can diagnose his problem, find the right solution for it in the light of Islam and thwart the attack.

SELF-TREATMENT OF VOODOO MAGIC

Assalam oalaikum,

In order to cure oneself from this deadly spiritual warfare, which involves evil spirits; demons, devils etc, first of all one need to be on one’s toes- always. This is all the more essential if one decides not to seek professional help. Being alert is necessary because if the victims want to get rid of Voodoo witchcraft all by themselves, then understanding all the symptoms of black magic are essential. A devil-may-care attitude in situation such as this can make the victim end up in serious trouble. After all the victim needs to identify his enemy, the kind of magic being used against him and the ways of tackling with it.
Secondly, fulfilling the obligatory religious duties such as Salaah punctually is also essential. If the victim is a spiritual person then he or she will definitely prove to be a tough bet for the shaman or tantrik. However, if a victim is a materialistic person with no interest whatsoever in the spiritualism or religion then half the battle is already won for the witchcraft practitioners. Those who have distanced themselves from Islam will not even have the faintest idea about Satanic whispers. Then how can they understand the intricate symptoms of witchcraft? So apart from being on the vigil, the victim also needs to develop his spirituality because the problem of witchcraft has a supernatural dimension to it. A problem can be solved on one’s own only if it is understood in the first place. If the victim is worldly and materialistic with no inclination towards spiritual beliefs then it will be a Herculean task for him or her to understand the nuances of witchcraft-about how it is practiced and what are its repercussions on one’s life.
The biggest goof up on the part of the victim would be to brush aside the topic of witchcraft, and to try moving ahead in life pretending as if nothing has happened. Ignoring these kinds of problems will give the witchcraft practitioners a golden opportunity to cast magic spells successfully, in the absence of any resistance.

As I had pointed out earlier the victims need to be vigilant. They should pay attention to the symptoms of Voodoo witchcraft. Unnatural occurrences should not be taken lightly. For example: In many cases of witchcraft, bruises appear on the body out of the blue. I say ‘out of the blue’ because there is no prior mishap before their appearance. Neither does the victim fall down somewhere; nor does he get hurt. Yet bruises appear on any part of the body. A naïve person may look at such a bruise and think that he has got himself hurt somewhere. The victim will not realize that if he had really got hurt somewhere then the bruise would have been painful. However, the bruises caused by the evil entities are not painful but they leave a bluish black mark.
Another symptom of witchcraft which can help the victim diagnose his problem is frightening dreams. People experiencing witchcraft often see dreams of filthy toilets, cockroaches, graveyards etc. However, the naïve victims can ignore such dreams as mere nightmares. What they do not realize is that they are shown such dreams for a reason. These dreams unfold a story and they carry a message for us. It is up to the person whether he decodes the dreams and finds out the message which is being sent to him or he ignores them and gropes in darkness.  I have spoken at length about dream interpretation in one of my earlier blogs: HYPERLINK "http://dreaminterpretationslam.blogspot.in/" http://dreaminterpretationslam.blogspot.in/ .

Moreover, without any knowledge of Quranic healing; the victim’s efforts to protect himself from witchcraft will go in vain.
The Mu’awwidhatayn, i.e. the last two Surahs of the Holy Quran are specially read in such circumstances, to seek Allah (swt)’s protection fro sorcery. Read both these verses 41 times each (with Durud Ibrahimi 11 times before and after). This amal should be done twice daily in a state of wudhoo with concentration.
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said: ‘To keep the devils at bay and to destroy the effects of magic recite verses 54-56 of AlAraf’.
Recite Ayatal Kursi, which is the most powerful verse of the Holy Quran
Recite Quran daily or else at least try to listen to its recording.

These are a few remedial measures which the victims of Voodoo witchcraft can take to protect themselves.

VICTIM VERSUS SHAMAN/TANTRIK

Assalam oalaikum,

Witchcraft/black magic involves bloody rituals to evoke spirits, demons and devils and taking the help of such evil entities to cast magic spells on innocent victims. Since there is an underlying unity between Satan and his ilk so if need arises then thousands of Satanic entities can join hands to fulfill their evil agenda. A single black magician can have thousands of evil entities at his beck and call and if the need arises then thousands of other devils may join hands against the victim. So in case of VICTIM vs. BLACK MAGICIAN it is a fight of one against thousands.
On the other hand, we find that an amil/spiritual healer also works with the help of spiritual bodies such as angels and pious jinnat. He also has to evoke positive spiritual energies which help them in their mission. However, unlike the tantriks, a Muslim spiritual healer evokes the spiritual entities with the help of the Holy Quran and not through some terrible ritual. After completing an amal (jalali or jamali in 41 days through Quranic wazaaif) an amil becomes equipped with spiritual strength which is enough to bring many black magicians to book. This happens due to the fact that the angels who help an amil are far more powerful than the devils possessed by the tantriks. So an amil can very easily quell the witchcraft spells by destroying the evil entities which are used against the victims. In this war between good and evil an amil will surely have an upper hand on the evil black magicians because the formers works in accordance with the Islamic tenets whereas the latter works in a diametrically opposite way. The tantriks worship Satan and try to appease him through sacrifices, both animal and human. They also commit grave sins in a bid to appease their lord-Satan. Therefore, in this war between positive energies of the pious, spiritual healers and the negative energies of the black magicians it is the former who wins ultimately because their work in an Islamic way and not against it.
If the victim takes up the responsibility of dealing with a black magician all by himself then he is actually playing with fire. Even if the victim is pious and spiritual yet he will not have access to the powers of angels/moakkils which usually help an amil. So by refusing to take spiritual help such a victim is paving the way for his own destruction. Moreover, it would not be an overstatement to say the dealing with witchcraft oneself would be tantamount to holding a sword for protection in one’s hands always. If a victim does so then will he be able to anything else in the world? All his time and energy will be focused on trying to protect himself so he will not be left with any free time to live normally, do his work without any tension or to spend quality tie with his family.
If a person is being targeted through Voodoo witchcraft and he consults a spiritual healer just like he would consult a doctor during physical illness, then he will be transferring all his tensions to the amil who can easily handle the problem due to his own expertise in this field. Whatever the level of black magic, dealing it on one’s own will not leave victim with practically no time for oneself whereas an amil is professionally trained to deal with paranormal and supernatural problems.
If a victim takes on the responsibility of braving with black magic then this would be commendable because it shows that at least he believes in the reality of black magic and is making an attempt to quell it. However, a major concern in such a case would be that there are chances that the naïve victim may eventually get over powered by the witchcraft practitioners due to the latter’s experience and an army of devils behind him.
